It has gained a renowned position as the Middle East’s business trade hub and now has become one of the world’s leading cities for events, conferences and trade shows to art-related exhibitions, sports, music and much more.

Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Design Week, Art Dubai, Dubai International Film Festival are a few best examples of homegrown events that attracted thousands of international visitors. In this blog, I’ve highlighted a list of events that is going to be held in the month of May 2017.

Airport Show

Centre of Aviation (CAPA) is organizing the 5^th edition of the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum (GALF) that will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16-27 May, 2017. It is the world’s leading platform for global Airport leaders and industry suppliers to meet the officials from across the Middle East, South Asia and Africa to discuss the airport related issues.

Aluminium Middle East

Aluminium Middle East is the largest event that brings together international industry professionals, manufacturers and suppliers of technologies and accessories for the exhibition aluminium products, technologies and investments in the Middle East. It will takes place on Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 May, 2017 to 17^th May, 2017.

More than 180 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and 3500 industry professionals are expected to attend the event. The event highlights the Middle East’s future role in aluminium production industry and facilitates discussions on improving the growth and performance of downstream sectors.

HR Tech MENA Summit

HR Tech MENA Summit will be held on The Westin Dubai from 16^th May, 2017 to 17^th May, 2017. In this event, people from the biggest government bodies to large private firms come together to revolutionize the future of workplace, discuss the shift to digital HR, importance of social and mobile, employee centric learning, traditional HR processes and much more. Last year, the summit brought together more than 150 top HR and IT leaders from across the GCC that represented government, semi-government and private firms.

Middle East Event & Exhibition Show (MEES)

The Middle East Event and Exhibition is a great event for those involved in brand activations, events, and exhibitions. This event gives a great networking opportunities and industry updates. The event highlights all the vital aspects and insights on tools, hardware and materials to build and develop your business. INDEX International Design Exhibition

INDEX International Design Exhibition is a prestigious design exhibition held every year in Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Middle East Covering

Middle East Covering is the MENA’s leading platform for surface covering that invite contract business professionals seeking out the best materials for surface interior, wall covering and contract flooring projects. The 3^rd edition of Middle East Covering will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre, from 22^nd May, 2017 to 25^th May, 2017. More than 200 international brands and over 2000 products will be displayed in this fair.
