Recently, the new logo for Expo 2020 revealed at Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The design is totally inspired by an artefact found at the archeological site. The object is very small, detailed and composed of pure gold, with tiny artistic designs around it. The logo contains a star that represents people of this entire region have strong Islamic faith. The colorful creation is composed of three basic symbols circle, square and triangle to denote unity, beauty, and strength.

The ring is a recent discovery of more than 10,000 artifacts including daggers, knives, tools and vases. The logo is said to be historically significant, culturally symbolic and astonishingly beautiful.

The logo design competition was launched one year ago, and people from all over the region have submitted 19000 incredible designs. Picking the new face of the Expo was a very difficult decision. The new logo that depicts exceptional creativity was picked by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. He presented awards to 3 lucky finalists Tunisian Mohamed Souhaiel Bin Ali, Mouza Al Mansouri, of the UAE, and Valerii Ilnitski, of Moldova.
The Expo 2020 will commence from October 2020 to April 2021. It is expected that it will attract 25 million visitors, from all across the globe to the Dubai Trade Centre. Expo 2020 is guided with the belief that innovation is a combined effort of people sharing ideas and finding new ways to define future. The new logo is the face of the Expo and is one of the most important steps to the journey to 2020.
