A Timeline of UAE’s Major Milestones Achieved In The Past 45 Years – Infographics

UAE is one of the fastest growing countries in the Gulf region with the emirate or city of Dubai one of the most popular and cosmopolitan cities in the world. Economically, UAE is a major player in the Gulf region and a member of OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries). The country just celebrated its 45th anniversary in December 2016.

The economy of the country flourished right till the end of 2015 but has declined a bit since the oil prices has started to go down from a high of 110 dollars/barrel to as low as 27 dollars/barrel. That’s why I have presented the stats from 1970 to 2015 to cover the 45 year era and in some cases to the year up till the data is available. In this Infographic, there are figures and stats available on topics ranging from healthcare t entertainment and from architecture to women empowerment.
